Marketing Automation : Automated Consent Management is Now Possible

Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) requires that the consents from your contacts always be up-to-date, but this task can be a lot of work, especially for SMBs. But this is not the case if you are using Cyberimpact.

We have developed a marketing automation scenario that will allow your consent management to be on autopilot. In a matter of minutes you can activate the scenario and Cyberimpact will take care of the rest.

Reach out to contacts when their implied consent is about to expire

This scenario will allow you to get in touch with members when their implied consent is about to expire. The goal being to turn it into an express consent before the end of the implied consent period. Of course this concerns the contacts for whom you have entered a consent date (for example, if you imported a list of past clients and specified the end of contract date).

With this scenario, you will send a series of emails that will start 30 days before the expiry date of the consent. Again, the end goal will be to obtain an express consent. If the goal is achieved, the contact will not receive any further emails.

How to activate this scenario in Cyberimpact

Login to your Cyberimpact account and click on the “Marketing automation” tab, then click on “New scenario”.

You’ll then see a list of scenarios to choose from. Select “Express consent campaign (soon-to-be expired implied consent) Make sure the choose the language of the campaign (FR or EN).

The scenario structure will be added to your account. The emails with the content we recommend will already be present in the scenario. Of course you can always modify the email to your liking. At the very least, we invite you to go see if the content is to your liking, and feel free to add your logo to the emails.

You can also modify the time delay between each email.

At the end of the scenario you can delete the contacts that have not give your their express consent, since you will not longer have a valid implied consent from them.
