Marketing Automation: From Cyberimpact to the Palm of Your Hand

Our programmers are currently working extremely hard to add yet another key component to the platform. If you are one of our many users, you will soon have access to a new module, that will make your email marketing efforts even more efficient than they already are.

This new marketing automation module will be launched sometime between now and mid-April.

What is marketing automation, you ask?

Let’s break it down. The word automation means that something is done automatically, without continuous input from the operator. Now let’s add the word marketing to it. Marketing automation is meant to automatically accomplish certain marketing tasks. In our case, it would mean emails being sent automatically based on conditions and actions programmed for individual scenarios.

For example, when clients or prospects subscribe to your newsletter, you’ll be able to program follow-up emails. Let’s say you wanted to send a follow-up email 5 days after a subscription takes place. Then another one, 5 days after that. If they open the first email, they would receive a second email with different content. But if they haven’t opened email number 1, instead they would receive a reminder of the first email. Once you’ve programmed the rules into the platform everything is done automatically.

Why is this good news? How will this benefit you?

Your automation scenarios can be as simple, or as complex as you’d like them to be. Below are few examples of possible scenarios:

  • Send follow-up emails with educational content to your prospects to entice them to make a purchase, or even just to encourage them to get in touch with you.
  • Offer complimentary products/services to your clients to generate extra sales
  • Offer a coupon to someone who clicked on a particular link in your newsletter, this will pique their interest and perhaps engage them to act.

And with all of this done automatically, the sky’s the limit!
